Bayern Munich manager Manuel Neuertsche says he will have learned from his team that finished second in the Europa Cup final in Russia, but his side are not ready to give up.
The Bundesliga champions are yet to concede a goal in the first half against PSV Eindhoven, who had a goal disallowed in the 82nd minute, but Neuer is confident that he can win the game on Wednesday.
“I am not worried about it,” Neuer said.
“We need to keep the pressure on the opposition and not concede.
I am sure we will win the match.”
It is a difficult match, but I have to concentrate on the task at hand.”PSV have lost three of their last four games in the competition and the home side were not able to overcome a late first-half equaliser from the PSV keeper.”PSV are a great team.
They play with a lot of quality and it is important to make sure we don’t give them the opportunities to score,” Neuere said.
The home side have also lost five of their past six league matches.
